For my digital illustration course, our first project was to illustrate a pattern for a children's bedsheet design. The fake client was Target and the prospective age group was 2-8. In order to make the pattern feel silly and fun for kids, I decided on the concept of bunnies in space. I illustrated all of the separate elements with pencil and paper, digitally lined and colored in Procreate, and finally assembled the pattern in Illustrator. This project was very exciting for me, as I got to use both my illustration and design skills. I am very pleased with the result and that I am able to create patterns now in my future illustrative and brand campaigns.
